Toddler

It’s time to spice up your traditional stuffing with a Hoff twist. Imagine the rich flavors of sausage and the tart sweetness of apples and cranberries, all given an extra kick with Hoff Sauce. This Spicy Sausage, Apple, and Cranberry Stuffing is not just a side dish; it’s a statement on your holiday table.

INGREDIENTS:

8 cups cubed white bread

4 cups cubed whole wheat bread

1 pound ground sausage

1 medium onion, chopped

1 cup chopped celery

1 tablespoon dried sage

2 teaspoons dried rosemary

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped

¾ cup dried cranberries, chopped

⅓ cup minced parsley

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1-2 cups turkey or chicken stock

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons Hoff Sauce hot sauce

DIRECTIONS:

1:
First up, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread your white and whole wheat bread cubes out on a baking sheet and toast 'em in the oven until they're nice and golden, about 5 to 7 minutes. Then, toss these crispy cubes into a big mixing bowl.

2:
In a large skillet, brown that sausage with the onions and celery. We're talking about a good stir here, making sure those lumps are gone. Once browned, add in the sage, rosemary, and thyme, and let those flavors meld together for a couple of minutes.

3:
Pour this savory sausage mix over your toasted bread. Now, let’s add some holiday cheer with chopped apple, cranberries, parsley, and salt.

4:
Here's where it gets good: Melt the butter and stir in the Hoff Sauce hot sauce. Drizzle this spicy butter blend over your stuffing mix. Add 1 cup of stock at first, mix, then add more to get it to your desired moistness.

5:
Scoop this mixture into a 9”x9” baking dish and bake it for 30 to 45 minutes. You're looking for that perfect moment when the liquid cooks off, leaving you with a dish that’s crispy on top and moist inside.
